MAXST participated in KOREA COMPUTER GRAPHICS SOCIETY 2022 (KCGS 2022) held at Sokcho, Gangwon-do for 3 days from July 13th to 15th.🤩
Every summer at KCGS, researchers from academia and industry gather to share ideas, present new technologies, and discuss future technologies.
This competition, which covers various fields related to Computer Graphics (CG) such as ▲Computer Games ▲Film/Broadcast Special Effects ▲VR/AR ▲Human-Computer Interaction ▲Media Art ▲Robotics was held to find the way forward for CG based on cooperation, sharing and communication.
In the past two years, it was held online due to COVID-19.
But this year, it was held offline, consisting of various and high-quality programs such as invitation lectures, professor-level researchers presentation, new researchers and master's thesis award candidates presentations.
MAXST Lab participated in this conference and operated its own booth to discover excellent researchers while introducing the company's AR platform, solution, and metaverse technology.
More than 100 professors and master's/doctoral researchers visited the booth.
Also, we were able to show off our metaverse technology in academia by explaining in detail about our AR technology and Tlön, a realistic virtual world we are creating together.
On July 13th, at 4 pm, there was also a presentation session by John, MAXST Vice President, on the topic of City-Scale AR Technology and Metaverse Platform!
At this event, MAXST was able to emphasize its metaverse technology to the CG academia while interacting with renowned academic experts.
